Its 3,600-watt peak Class-D amplifier and onboard DSP drive output up to 136 dB peak, with a 35 Hz–111 Hz frequency range for deep bass extension. Two locking XLR/TRS combo inputs and two XLR loop-through outputs support professional system connections, while selectable cardioid processing can be used when two or more compatible KS118 units are arranged for directional low-frequency control. The birch-plywood enclosure includes heavy-duty casters for transport, and the rental includes a compatible power cable.
