The Shure MX418D/C is an 18-inch cardioid gooseneck condenser microphone with a desktop base for lecterns, conference tables, panels, meetings, and presentations. Its flexible neck allows accurate positioning near the speaker, while the cardioid cartridge focuses on the talker and reduces pickup from the sides. The programmable mute button and LED indicator support controlled speaking positions, and the attached 14-foot cable terminates in a standard three-pin XLR audio connector.
